An Awarding Night for Nixon Build

Bret and the team at Nixon Build are thrilled to announce that we walked away with not one, but three awards from the Queensland Master Builders, North Queensland Regional Housing and Construction Awards on Friday night. To top it off we secured an award for each of our three showcase properties completed in the last 12 months.

The awards night moves at a cracking pace and it came as such a surprise to hear our first award for Trade Contractor - Swimming Pool, Outdoor Living & Landscaping for our Castle Hill Renovation to be read out.

This project was a challenge from start to finish and required much innovation during the construction phase to achieve a zero tolerance for the foundations so as not to compromise the finish of the wet edge to the pool from foundations settling. We are so very proud of the end result of this project and cannot thank the owners enough for their support, trust and for choosing Nixon Build to carry out this project for them.

Our next surprise came when they announced the winners of the Home Renovation/Remodelling Project $276,000 - $575,000 category. Our Hermit Park project took out this award and again we cannot thank the owners enough for giving Nixon Build an open book for the design and finish of this beautiful home.

Bret didn't even get a chance to sit down before our name was called out as the winners of the Home Renovation/Remodelling Project over $576,000 for our West End renovation project. You can see from the before and after images of this project that the transformation is just amazing and the owners were a delight to work for as they had such a sound understanding of exactly the style and function they wanted from their home.

We would like to thank all of our customers, subcontractors, tradesmen, suppliers and Queensland Master Builders and their sponsors for their support, assistance and efforts in completing these projects and helping us achieve award winning results in their finish and presentation. Fingers crossed for October 4!
